How are fuses, maxi-fuses, circuit breakers,Turn Signal Flasher and fusible links identified and replaced in a Honda Prelude's electrical system? Posted by Customer

Fuses are located either in the engine compartment or passenger compartment fuse and relay panels and can be identified by observing the condition of the fuse. Maxi-fuses are located in the engine compartment relay box and can be identified by inspecting the fusible links. Circuit breakers are located inside the fuse panel and are automatically reset when the problem corrects itself, is repaired, or the circuit cools down to allow operation again. Fusible links are identified by the color coding of the insulation and should not be confused with standard wire. To replace a turn signal flasher/hazard warning relay, grasp and pull the flasher from the connector located near the top of the fuse panel, inspect the socket for corrosion or any other signs of a bad contact, install a new flasher in the connector, and install the fuse panel cover.
