- A:Relieve the system fuel pressure, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, disconnect the quick-connect fittings at both ends of the hose, tee your fuel pressure gauge into the fuel system, reconnect the battery, make sure the air conditioning and other electrical systems are turned off, turn the ignition switch to ON, start the engine and let it warm up, check the fuel pressure, replace the fuel pressure regulator and fuel filter if necessary, relieve the system fuel pressure, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, disconnect the fuel pressure testing rig, reconnect the fuel supply line quick-connect fitting, reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal, start the engine and check for fuel leaks.Posted by HondaPartsNow Specialist
