How do I Remove and Install the Heater/Air Conditioner Control Assembly? Posted by Customer: A:
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal. For the front A/C switch, remove the dashboard center bezel. Disconnect the front blower motor switch and temperature control module connectors. Pull off the knobs for 2005 and later models only and remove the A/C switch retaining screws. Installation is the reverse of removal. For the rear A/C switch, use a panel tool to pry the control assembly from the body panel. Remove the electrical connectors from the A/C switch. Separate the A/C switch from the body panel. Installation is the reverse of the removal.
