- Q:I am trying to confirm this is CARB compliant. This is the same part number that the dealer just gave me after they did a diagnostic and confirmed P0420 is only the catalytic converter. NOTE in response to the reply PQCH91913 stating FEDERAL is offered and required per my VIN number, the tag under the hood clearly states my car requires a CARB compliant converter. - A:Yes our warehouse does have it in stock. Unfortunately it is NOT C.A.R.B. for as this vin is not made for California emissions. If it is being registered in the state of California they would have to call a DMV in the area that it's being registered in California to find out what is needed to become a C.A.R.B compliant vehicle.
