- A:To remove and replace components during a vehicle repair:Loosen the wheel lug nuts.Raise the vehicle and securely support it on jackstands.Remove the wheel.Remove the driveaxle/hub nut.Remove the brake disc.Remove the wheel speed sensor from the knuckle.Separate the tie-rod end from the steering knuckle.Remove the strut-to-steering knuckle nuts (do not remove the bolts yet).Separate the control arm balljoint from the steering knuckle.Separate the driveaxle from the steering knuckle.Support the end of the driveaxle with a length of wire to prevent overextension.Remove the strut-to-knuckle bolts and separate the knuckle from the strut.Remove the hub-to-steering knuckle bolts, then detach the two components and remove the brake disc splash shield.Posted by HondaPartsNow Specialist
