- A:Working in the passenger compartment under the glove box, disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor transistor. Remove the blower motor transistor mounting screws and remove the transistor from the blower housing. Installation is the reverse of removal. Rear: Some models utilize a blower motor resistor for the rear heater/air conditioning system. This component mounts virtually the same as the blower motor transistor. Remove the center console. Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor transistor. Remove the blower motor transistor from the blower housing. Installation is the reverse of removal. BLOWER MOTOR Front: Working in the passenger compartment under the glove box, disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor. Remove the blower motor mounting screws, then remove the blower motor assembly. Remove the blower motor fan circlip and remove the blower fan from the motor. Installation is the reverse of removal. Rear: Remove the center console. Disconnect the blower motor electrical connector. Remove the blower motor mounting screws and then remove the blower motor.
