To remove the windshield wiper blade and arm, first remove the mounting nut from the wiper pivot, mark the wiper arm and pivot bolt alignment, press down on the wiper arm about 4 inches from the wiper pivot bolt and fold the arm upward until it locks in position. For the rear wiper arm, a 12mm wrench is needed for removal. To remove the windshield wiper motor, make sure the wipers are in the park position, remove the wiper arms from the wiper pivots, remove the upper and lower clips from the plastic windshield wiper linkage cover, remove the 2 wiper pivot trim covers, and then remove the plastic wiper linkage cover. Using a 10mm socket, extension and ratchet, remove the four wiper assembly mounting bolts, remove the wiper motor electrical connector from the wiper motor, and carefully remove the wiper motor and linkage assembly from the center cowling. To remove the windshield washer pump, remove the front bumper or inner fender well as necessary for access to the windshield washer pump, disconnect the washer motor electrical connector and fluid hose, and release the washer pump from the washer bottle and grommet. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
