- Q:I recently ordered a Weatherstrip lid seal (74865-SM4-000) for my 1990 Honda Accord. My vin is JHMCB7644LC113591. I have removed the old weatherstrip and, very stupidly, did not pay attention to where the seam/ colored dot line up on the trunk. Basically, I am hoping you can tell me how to line up the green dot and seam on the weatherstrip with the trunk. Should the dot or seam be at the top of the trunk or the bottom by where the trunk latch is?
