- Q:How Do I Remove and Replace the Coolant Reservoir? Posted by Customer
- A:Disconnect the reservoir hose, specifically the coolant hose from the top of the reservoir, and plug the hose to prevent leakage. On 2004 and earlier models, the coolant reservoir needs to be lifted straight up out of its bracket. However, on 2005 and later models, the two mounting screws need to be removed before lifting the reservoir out. The tank should then be cleaned out with soapy water and a brush to remove any deposits inside. It's important to inspect the reservoir carefully for cracks. If a crack is found, the reservoir should be replaced. The installation process is simply the reverse of the removal process.Posted by HondaPartsNow Specialist
