How to replace the Rear Suspension and Axle Beam on a Honda Fit?

Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the brake drum, brake line filling, parking brake cable, brake line brackets, brake and backing plate assembly, wheel speed sensors, spindles, brake line, brake hose, exhaust pipe and fuel filler pipe (2007/2008 models). Place floor jacks under the coil spring pockets and axle beam, remove shock absorber lower mounting bolts, rear coil springs and axle beam pivot bolts. Install rear suspension components, fill brake system with new fluid and bleed brakes. Install wheels and lug nuts, then lower vehicle and tighten lug nuts to torque.
