Honda Fit Wheel Hub Parts Questions & Answers

  • Q: How Do I Remove and Install a Wheel Hub and Bearing Assembly?
A: Untighten the back wheel lug nuts. Lift the vehicle and support it firmly on jackstands. Take off the wheel, brake drum, and hub cap. Unstake the hub nut and unscrew it. Slide the hub and bearing assembly off the spindle. Install a new nut, lubricate it with oil, and tighten it to the torque. Stake the nut into the slot in the spindle. Install a new hub cap, wheel, and nuts. Put down the vehicle and secure the lug nuts to the torque.
