How to replace the Rear Brake Shoes on a Honda CR-V?

Loosen the wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle on jackstands, and block the front wheels. Remove the wheel, thread the bolts in the drum, and remove it. Clean the shoe assembly. Remove the upper return spring, adjuster lever spring, and adjuster lever. Then remove hold-down spring, C-clip, washer, and pin. Disassemble and clean the adjuster, clean the backing plate, and connect the parking brake lever. Install the trailing shoe, adjuster, lower return spring, leading shoe, hold-down spring, adjuster lever, upper return spring, and adjuster lever spring. Turn the adjuster wheel and check the drum for cracks. Install the drum, mount the wheel, install the lug nuts, lower the vehicle, and tighten the lug nuts. Make stops, operate the parking brake, and check the brakes before driving.
