Honda 39410-SB2-672 Blower Assembly

Before removing and installing the blower motor, the negative battery cable must be disconnected and the air conditioning discharge if necessary. Next is the glove box assembly and the frame, then the blower duct on the models without the air conditioning system; it is the white plastic duct between the blower case and the heater case. For models equipped with air conditioning, then the evaporator assembly must be detached. Remove the wire connectors at the blower motor assembly and then you unscrew the blower motor housing bolts. Remove the blower housing in order to take out the blower motor; it is possible to remove the motor from the blower cage in case of its necessity. For installation position the blower assembly under the instrument panel, bolt and tighten the retaining bolts to 7 ft lbs. (10 Nm) and again join the wires at the blower unit. If installing the air duct, perform the operation and make sure that the foam seals are correctly engaged; then immediately reattach the evaporator housing, glove box assembly, and frame. Last of all, connect the battery cable and then charge the air conditioning unit.
