OEM replacement starter

Somewhat strangely, my 2015 V6 Accord Coupe experienced several starter (intermittent) failures over a 6-month period. Three (much cheaper) remanufactured starters from local auto parts chain stores were installed. While remans can be just as reliable than a new OEM starter, neither I, nor my shop could explain these failures. Tired of having a Honda I couldn't trust to start, I purchased a new starter from HondaPartsNow and also had the shop perform Service Bulletin 16-002. So far, so good but fingers crossed.

The product was just as described and shipped quickly. The part was a little bit more expensive than I thought it would be, but since I was replacing it myself, it offset the cost. I only replaced the right side just to see if the parts would fit right - will purchase again for the left side.

Antenna Cover

My husband needed a replacement cover for the roof antenna on his 2012 Honda Ridgeline. Honda Parts was one of the few places that I could find the unit. The only thing that would have made it better was if you could purchase just the cover. We did not need the whole wiring component part. The antenna was fine-just lost the cover in a car wash.

I was very pleased when I went to the website and obtained the Honda manufactured parts for less then after market ones that were at a fare higher cost on Amazon. The only thing that considerably increased the price was the shipping cost but it was still less then Amazon and I have free shipping with Prime. Now with the current tariffs that have recently been put into effect I doubt that the prices will stay at there current level. Thank you for making things harder for all businesses and the population.
