    looking at purchasing a new ECU for my 17 Honda Ridgeline, (getting int. B12D3 errors, won't shut off and random dash lights). 2 questions, I know these have to be flashed for my vehicle- can you flash this ECU with my VIN before it is sent out so it will be ready to go when installed? Or does it have to be in the vehicle to be updated? If you can't pre-flash it, if I install this ECU will my vehicle run to allow me to take it to a dealer for them to flash it?
