    The hinges and latch assemblies on the doors, the hood and trunk should get a liberal dosing with light oil or lock lubricant every 3000 miles or every three months. Also the door latch strikers should be greased with a thin layer of grease so as to reduce on wear and to ensure that the doors open easily. In addition, having spray-on graphite lubricant, the door and trunk locks should be lubricated with it.
