- A:To replace the MAF sensor, disconnect the negative battery cable, disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF sensor, remove the air cleaner assembly and the four MAF sensor mounting bolts, loosen the clamps which secure the MAF sensor to the intake air duct and the air cleaner assembly, remove the intake air duct from the MAF sensor and remove the MAF sensor from the air cleaner assembly.
