Q: I need to attach a front license plate bracket to my 2005 Honda Civic. I already own an OEM bracket, but I need a little guidance in identifying the correct attachment hardware. After a search of your website, I'm assuming 93904-46220 is the part I want. However, the breakdown calls for 4 of them while my car only has 2 threaded anchor holes under the front bumper. A couple questions, then: 1) Is this the correct part for my application? If so, where are the extra 2 screws supposed to go? 2) I'm trying to avoid drilling holes into the bumper itself unless absolutely necessary. I understand part 93913-154G0 is intended to more firmly attach the bracket to the bumper, but is there any reason screws in the holes provided under the bumper won't hold the bracket firmly enough in place?
