    Q:
Where is the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor Located and How to Replace it on the Honda Ridgeline? Posted by Customer
    A:
Acura and Honda cars made in 2005 and 2006 have their Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor placed on the front of the intake manifold by the throttle body. Begin by removing the engine cover. Hit the release tab and gently pull the IAT sensor's electrical connector off its housing. Unscrew the IAT sensor from the intake manifold. Lift out and throw away the old rubber seal (O-ring), which sits in the countersunk area of the intake manifold. Handle the part carefully to avoid scratching where the seal sits or the hole through which the sensor attaches. Never reinstall an oxygen sensor without installing a fresh O-ring. Before putting everything back together, we put in a fresh O-ring during installation.

    Q:
Where is the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor Located and How to Replace on Honda Accord? Posted by Customer
    A:
Four-cylinder models (except SULEV and LX-P) have Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on air intake duct near throttle body. Disconnect electrical connector, remove spring-type clamp, pull out sensor. For 2003-2004 SULEV/LX-P and 2005+ models, Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is part of MAF sensor. For V6 models, Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is on front side of intake manifold near throttle body. Disconnect electrical connector, unscrew sensor, remove O-ring. Installation is reverse of removal. Use new O-ring, secure sensor.
