- Q:How do you replace the CMP sensor from the 2000 Honda Passport? Posted by Customer
- A:To replace the CMP sensor, disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal, unplug the electrical connector, remove the retaining bolt and loosen the timing belt cover stud enough to pull the CMP sensor straight up. Inspect the sensor O-ring for cracks and leaks and lubricate the new O-ring with clean engine oil. Installation is the reverse of removal.Posted by HondaPartsNow Specialist
