    How to Remove and Replace the Fuel Tank on a Honda Crosstour? Posted by Customer

    Relieve the fuel system pressure and empty the fuel tank. The parking brake lever must be released, the rear wheel lug nuts loosened, and the vehicle raised and placed securely on jackstands. The exhaust system must be disconnected from the rear mounting flange of the catalytic converter, and the fuel filler neck hose and the fuel tank vapor hose must be disconnected and inspected. The two rear wheel speed sensors must be disconnected, and the brake hoses and calipers must be removed. The lower shock absorber mounting bolts must be removed, and the rear suspension sub frame mounting bolts must be removed. Installation is the reverse of removal, and tighten all bolts to the specified torque.
