Honda 8-94344-857-1 Valve, Vacuum Switch Exhuast

To replace the EGR valve, disconnect the cable from the negative terminal of the battery, remove the air cleaner housing assembly, detach the vacuum line from the EGR valve, raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, remove the EGR pipe from the exhaust manifold, remove the EGR valve mounting bolts, remove the EGR valve and gasket from the manifold, clean the mounting surface of the EGR valve, install a new gasket and the EGR valve and tighten the bolts securely, connect the electrical connector onto the EGA valve, disconnect the electrical connector from the EGR gas temperature sensor and using and open-end wrench, remove the sensor from the intake manifold, and disconnect the electrical connector from the EGR valve.

The EGR valve is situated on the intake manifold.
