The adjustment process is rather just a short-term solution, and a professional must make these changes. There is one adjustment screw located in each of the assemblies, and it permits only vertical adjustment of the headlights. For this, a set of blank walls should be placed a distance of twenty five feet in front of the vehicle to ensure a level surface. The first line of the vertical masking tape should be parallel with the centerline of the vehicle as well as the centerline of both headlights and a second horisontal line of masking tape should also be drawn parallel with the line of the center of all headlights. The car should be leveled, tires should be inflated, the fuel tank should be half charged; no laden vehicle should be selected. In order to set the low beam adjustment, the high-intensity zone should be pointing an inch below the horizontal and the high beam should be pointing right at the horizontal. Ideally, the high beam and low beam might be perfect in adjustment but this might not be possible, thus adjustment solely on low beam with priority matters because the rate at which the low beam is used has a very close link to safety. These adjustments should be done by a dealer service department or service station in the nearer possible time.
