To remove the master cylinder, find it in the engine compartment and remove its components based on the model year. Also, it is advisable that you protect painted surfaces and disconnect the fluid level warning switch. Then loosen the line fittings, remove the
Brake Lines, and plug the ends. The nuts that attach the master cylinder to the power booster are removed. If a new one is being installed the reservoir should be transferred with new seals. Before installation, bench bleed a new cylinder. Attach it to the power
Brake Booster studs, tighten nuts and fittings, and fill the reservoir. Bleed the system and test brakes before normal use.
