When having to take off a window regulator without power windows, first, pull the set pin spring to disconnect regulator handle and in addition, you have to also, take off the armrest, the door inside handle escutcheon, and the
Door Lock. Third, if required, take off the door finisher and sealing screen besides the outer door molding. Open the door glass to a position where the three window regulator-to-glass attaching bolts can be seen then close the glass and pull it up. Take off the window regulator attaching bolts and then the entire window regulator can be pulled out through the large opening provided in the door panel. Units or reinstall new window regulator assembly with all the mounting bolt and check the proper functioning. Modify the window if possible and then set in the door trim panel and all attaching pieces with the window regulator handle last. Power windows, to begin with, require removing of the trim plate and the speaker after which the armrest is held in place by screws. Remove the door trim panel by unscrewing it and gently wedging it up. Descend the door glass all the way down to reveal the mounting bolts, then pull the power window harnesses, as well as the screws and the armrest. Remove the glass and unbolt the glass to window regulator connection, unbolt the window regulator and carefully pull it through the lower hole on the door. It is worthy of note that before trying to take the motor off the window regulator, the sector gear should be marked as well as the position of the window regulator. Reposition the window regulator to the earlier position by connecting a 12 V source in terminal of the motor. While repositioning be careful that the window regulator gear shifts suddenly when the motor is disconnected due to the tensioned spring. The last step is installation on which special attention should be given to the fact that, the sector, gear, and rollers should be lubricated before installation.
