How to remove and install window glass and the window regulator on Honda Fit?

Wear gloves when working inside the door openings to protect against cuts from sharp metal edges. To remove the window glass, first take off the door trim panel and the plastic watershield. For 2009 and later models, also remove the door speaker. Move the window glass until the mounting fasteners are accessible, then remove them and carefully pull the glass out through the window slot. Installation is the reverse of removal. To access the Window Regulator, first remove the window glass. Next, disconnect the electrical connector for the Window Regulator motor and remove the mounting fasteners. Carefully guide the regulator out of the door, with installation being the reverse of removal.
