Honda Insight Variable Timing Sprocket

The Honda Insight Variable Timing Sprocket makes the engine feel more responsive by carefully controlling camshaft and crankshaft angles while allowing drivers to access additional efficiency at will. This Variable Timing Sprocket replaces the fixed gears with a machined hub that can be advanced or retarded a few degrees to provide the lightweight Honda hybrid Insight with improved fuel economy while cruising, and better throttle response when merging. Built to original Honda tolerances, the Variable Timing Sprocket fits first, second, and third Insight powertrains from early 1.0 liter manuals to later 1.3 liter CVT sedans on the platform, a smart upgrade across the model family.
