The Honda Passport Antenna allows drivers to pick up music, navigation cues, and broadcasts by converting electrical signals into radio waves and vice versa. This Antenna, which takes the form of an array of conductive elements, is the link between the receiver at the cabin interior and the invisible waves at the cabin exterior, transmitting a current outwards when a transmission is made and drawing a current inwards when a signal is received. - Q: How to detach the radio and remove the antenna on Honda Passport?A:Detach the radio and disconnect the antenna lead from the backside of the radio, removing any retaining clips under the instrument panel that secure the antenna lead. Working from the outside of the vehicle, use a small wrench to remove the mast by detaching the antenna mast and then the antenna base retaining nut. Utilize a pair of snap ring pliers or a similar tool to remove the antenna base retaining nut. Pull the antenna up and out to remove it, with installation being the reverse of the removal process.
