To do this, set your emergency brake on, and lift the vehicle and support it with jack stands, before you proceed to remove the four bolts holding the sway bar kit in place. Third, free the link from the bar by removing the angle above the sway bar kit and being keen on any spacer, washer, or bushing that may be interchanged. If the lower control arm is also being removed then such link should be detached by the removal of the lower nut. Following that, unbolt the sway bar kit and pull off the brackets that were installed on the frame and the bar respectively, check the bushing for any signs of deterioration, if yes replace them. For installation you have to place the sway bar bushings on the bar then push the brackets over the bushings until the bar is raised onto the frame. On some models, leave the bracket nuts loosely in place and then insert the sway bar kit-to-link nuts with washers, spacers, and rubber bushings and tighten them to the prescribed torque. Last of all, ensure you tighten the bracket nuts to the recommended degrees of torque.
