Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts, then raise the rear of the vehicle and secure it on jackstands before removing the rear wheels. Next, take off the nuts and bolts from each end of the links connecting the sway bar kit to the frame brackets, and then remove the links. Detach the two bolts from each of the brackets for the rubber bushings to remove the sway bar bushing brackets and the rubber bushings. After that, take out the sway bar kit and inspect the condition of the rubber bushings; if they are cracked or torn, replace them. For installation, reverse the removal process, ensuring to tighten the bushing bracket bolts and link nuts and bolts to the specified torque after lowering the vehicle.
