Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, Block the front wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling. Remove the rear wheels. If applicable, remove the undercarriage trim panel. Remove the sway bar kit link nuts and the sway bar kit bracket bolts and remove the sway bar kit. Pull the brackets off the sway bar kit and inspect the bushings for cracks, hardness and other signs of deterioration. If the bushings are damaged, replace them. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the fasteners.

Loosen the front wheel lug nuts, raise the front of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Apply the parking brake and block the rear wheels to keep the vehicle from rolling off the stands. Remove the front wheels, stabilizer bar links, nuts securing the stabilizer bar links to the control arms and the stabilizer bar, link from the bar and control arm, steering column joint cover, steering column shaft from the steering gear, balljoints from the steering knuckles, tie-rod end from the steering knuckle, under-vehicle splash shields, front section of the exhaust system, driveshaft, rear subframe bolts and the mid (center) subframe bolts, torque rod (roll restrictor)to-engine bolts, steering gear fasteners, steering gear stiffener brackets, stabilizer bar brackets bolts and brackets, and lift upon the steering box a few inches and hold it in place while you slide the stabilizer bar out the driver's side of the vehicle.
