Loosen the rear wheel lug nuts. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands, blocking the front wheels to prevent the vehicle from rolling. Remove the rear wheels. If applicable, remove the undercarriage trim panel. Remove the sway bar kit link nuts and the bracket bolts and remove the sway bar kit. Pull the brackets off the sway bar kit and inspect the bushings for cracks, hardness and other signs of deterioration and if the bushings are damaged, replace them. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the fasteners.
