Honda 44600-T0B-A00 Front Hub Assembly

CR-V models come with a sealed rear hub and bearing you never have to adjust or lubricate once installed. Worn or broken bearings need more than repairing; the entire hub and bearing unit must be put in its place. Begin by removing the rear wheel's nut connections, lifting the car's back end, placing jackstands under it while blocking the front wheels to prevent movement. Unwind the wheel bolt, then before you start, detach the axle and axle bolt that spins the car when it's built with AWD. First, disconnect the wheel. Then, unfasten the brake drum or disc. Lastly, through the knuckle's backside, eliminate the four bolts that secure the hub assembly to the knuckle. Take off the hub and bearing parts attached to the spindle, plus the O-ring if your vehicle uses one. The way to put back the wheel is simple: make sure you put a new O-ring if needed, tighten the hub bolts, tighten caliper mounting bracket screws on models with disc brakes on the rear, tighten the driveaxle/hub nut on AWD models, and lastly, attach the wheel and its lug nuts before putting the vehicle back to its normal height, then secure the lug nuts.

Using the proper adapter and press plate, press the hub out of the knuckle/wheel bearing with a hydraulic, from the back side to the front. Using a bearing splitter and the proper adapter, press the hub through the bearing inner race. Remove the screws and detach the disc splash shield from the knuckle. Remove the snap-ring from the backside of the knuckle.
