What is the purpose and location of the MAF/IAT sensor in Honda Crosstour, and how is it disconnected and reinstalled? Posted by Customer

2003 and 2004 SULEV and LX-P four cylinder models and all 2005 and later four cylinder models are equipped with an MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, which combines the functions of the MAF and Intake Manifold Temperature (IMT) sensors into one unit. The MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is located on the air filter housing. The MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor is not used on any V6 models. To disconnect the electrical connector from the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor, depress the release tab and disconnect the electrical connector, then remove the sensor retaining screws. Remove the MAF/Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor retaining screws and remove the sensor. Installation is the reverse of removal.
