    How to replace the instrument cluster in a Honda CR-V? Posted by Customer

    Take the cable away from the negative battery end and give it three minutes before doing anything else. Warning: Using the factory scanner, you have to store data from the old instrument cluster's memory, transfer it to a new replacement cluster, and upload it there before rehiding everything. Loosen the cover above your steering wheel with a flat tool to get access to the instrument cluster blind trim. Gently pull the instrument cluster trim off using a blade-edged trim tool. Take out the three screws that hold the instrument cluster to the dashboard. Unplug all electrical wires and take the cluster out. Installation is the reverse of removal. Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
