If you can hear the motors but the mirror glass doesn't move, there's a problem with the drive mechanism inside the mirror. If the mirrors do not operate and no sound comes from the mirrors, check the fuse. If the fuse is OK, remove the power mirror adjustment switch and have the switch continuity checked by a dealership service department or other qualified automobile repair facility. Test the ground connections. If the mirror still doesn't work, remove the mirror and check the wires at the mirror for voltage. If there is no voltage in any switch position, check the circuit between the mirror and the adjustment switch for opens and shorts. If there's voltage, remove the mirror and test it off the vehicle with jumper wires. Replace the mirror if it fails this test.

Lower the door glass, then for 2004 and earlier models, pry off the mirror mount cover using a panel tool. For 2005 and later models, lift the cover to release the hook and pull off the cover. If removing a power mirror, first remove the front door trim panel, then disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror. Next, remove the four mirror retaining bolts and push out the spring clip to detach the mirror. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring the spring clip is positioned correctly.
