    Q:
How to Remove and Install Car Mirrors on a Honda Civic? Posted by Customer
    A:
To remove the outside door mirrors, pry off the mirror trim cover, then remove the mirror retaining screws. For electric mirror models, the door trim panel may need to be removed to access the retaining bolts and electrical connector. Next, remove the three mirror retaining nuts and detach the mirror from the vehicle, ensuring to unplug the electrical connector if power mirrors are present. Installation follows the reverse order of removal. For the inside mirror, start by removing the trim cover from the mirror base, then loosen the set screw and slide the mirror off the base mount. Disconnect the electrical connector if equipped and remove the mirror, with installation again being the reverse of removal. If the mounting bracket has come off the windshield, it can be reattached using a special mirror adhesive kit available at auto parts stores; clean the glass and support base thoroughly, follow the adhesive package directions, and allow the base to bond overnight before reattaching the mirror.

How to Remove and Install Car Mirrors on a Honda Fit? Posted by Customer
    A:
Raise the window all the way up, then remove the inner door panel and plastic cover. Q:
How Do Electric Rear View Car Mirrors Operate and What Steps Should Be Taken if They Fail to Adjust Properly on a Honda Odyssey? Posted by Customer
    A:
Most electric rear view mirrors use two motors to move the glass, one for up and down adjustments and one for left-right adjustments. During mirror adjustment, the power mirror adjustment switch sends voltage to the left or right side mirror. With the ignition key turned to ON (engine not running), operate the mirror adjustment switch through all of its functions (left-right and up-down) for both the left and right side mirrors. Listen carefully for the sound of the electric motors running in the mirrors. If you can hear the motors but the mirror glass doesn't move, there's a problem with the drive mechanism inside the mirror. If the mirrors do not operate and no sound comes from the mirrors, check the fuse. If the fuse is OK, remove the power mirror adjustment switch and have the switch continuity checked by a dealership service department or other qualified automobile repair facility. Test the ground connections. If the mirror still doesn't work, remove the mirror and check the wires at the mirror for voltage. If there is no voltage in any switch position, check the circuit between the mirror and the adjustment switch for opens and shorts. If there's voltage, remove the mirror and test it off the vehicle with jumper wires. Replace the mirror if it fails this test.

    Q:
How to Remove and Install a Car Mirror on a Honda Odyssey? Posted by Customer
    A:
Lower the door glass, then for 2004 and earlier models, pry off the mirror mount cover using a panel tool. For 2005 and later models, lift the cover to release the hook and pull off the cover. If removing a power mirror, first remove the front door trim panel, then disconnect the electrical connector from the mirror. Next, remove the four mirror retaining bolts and push out the spring clip to detach the mirror. Installation is the reverse of removal, ensuring the spring clip is positioned correctly.
