First slow down tire lug nuts on the back wheel. Block the front wheels while parked. Lift the rear of the car carefully, then support it with jack stands under the approved jackstanding points at the rear. Remove the rear wheels. You must take the rear shocks to an authorized dealership or expert center to compress and install them into the shock spring system because special tools are necessary. Open the lower control arm B. Then take out all three rods connecting the top part to the shock/coil assembly and carefully move the bottom part away from the vehicle. Start by placing the shock/coil spring into the vehicle body. Insert the three upper mounting base bolts by hand, but leave them loose. Place the lower arm B on and fix bolt/nuts but do not turn them tight. Raise the lower arm B with the floor jack until it matches usual ride height. Then secure top and bottom mountings to their correct torque value. You need to go through this process once again to swap out the second rear shock absorber. Attach the tires and lug nuts; lower the vehicle down. Tighten the lug nuts to their correct level of pressure.
