    Q:
How to disconnect and remove the Turn Signal Switch and windshield wiper/washer switch on a Honda Civic? Posted by Customer
    A:
Remove the cable from the negative terminal of the battery and wait for not less than three minutes. The dash panel trim assembly and the steering column covers should be eliminated. The electrical connector is a white gangly connector attached to the multi-function switch, unplug it by simply applying pressure on the black tab found at the base of the connector. The multi-function switch is a bit complicated: the upper and lower tabs must be pressed in and then the component can be pulled out. The process of Installation is the other face of removal. Connect the cable again to the negative terminal of the battery. On the windshield wiper/washer switch, do as follows; remove the negative terminal on the battery, and wait for 3 minutes before proceeding. Disconnect the driver's dashboard trim assembly and the steering column covers. Take off the connector of electrical wire that is found in the windshield wiper/washer switch. Pull the wind shiled wiper/washer switch out with your fingers by pressing on the upper and lower tabs of the switch. Its removal is as follows: Installation is the reverse of removal. Plug back the cable into the negative terminal of the battery.

    Q:
How to remove and install the Turn Signal Switch on a Honda Crosstour? Posted by Customer
    A:
Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least three minutes before proceeding. Remove the driver's dashboard lower cover and the steering column covers. Disconnect the electrical connector from the wiper/washer switch, as the steering column switches are fed by this connector. Remove the combination light switch retaining screws to detach the switch from the housing; insert an awl through the designated hole, push down to disengage the tab, and slide the switch out to the left. To remove the combination light switch, push down on the retaining tab and slide the switch out. Installation is the reverse of removal. After completing the installation, reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the windshield wiper/washer switch, which is also fed by the steering column switches. Remove the windshield wiper/washer switch retaining screws, insert an awl through the designated hole, push firmly on the switch to disengage it from the combination switch assembly, and slide the switch out to the right. To remove the windshield wiper/washer switch, slide it out to the right. Installation is the reverse of removal, and after finishing, reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal.
