How to adjust the transmission range switch on the Honda Civic?

To adjust the range switch of Civic AT and pre-2015 CR-V models, set the parking brake, loosen the lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and remove the left front wheel. Remove the inner fender splash shield, put the shift lever into neutral position, and remove transmission range switch.
