How to adjust the transmission range switch on the Honda CR-V?

To adjust the range switch of Civic AT and pre-2015 CR-V models, set the parking brake, loosen the lug nuts, raise the vehicle, and remove the left front wheel. Remove the inner fender splash shield, put the shift lever into neutral position, and remove transmission range switch. Install the new switch at Neutral position, align the control shaft, and tighten the bolts. Verify correct synchronization with gear position indicator. Also, for 2015 and later CV-R models remove the battery, air filter housing, intake air pipe, PCM, and PCM bracket; reposition engine harness clips and brackets.
