How to remove and install the Tie Rod End on a Civic on a Honda CRX?

Park the vehicle, lift the front until stable, and take off the front tires. Take off the old clamps holding the dust seal bellows and slide the rubber bellows up and down the tie rod and rack joints. Before you take off the tie rod, adjust the lock washer tabs on the rack joint end of the rod to line up straight. Hold the tie rod still while using a wrench to loosen and pull it out of the rack joint. Install in reverse order for removal: restore the usual tie rod lock washer usage. After you tighten the big nut on the rod to 32 ft. lbs. (44Nm), place the tie rod's locating pins into the rack's marked slots. Then mold the washer's edge over the rod's flat surface once the rod nut is secure.
