To have the oil pan removed then it is required to warm up the engine, drain the oils and also replace the oil filter. Disconnect the power cable from the negative terminal of the battery and have the activation code of the radio if the unit has a theft-deterrent feature. Lift the car and place it on two jack stands safetly. Unfasten the bolts holding the oil pan to the block; to separate the oil pan gasket use a soft-face hammer to strike the pan and break the compression on the gasket without applying any force on the surfaces in contact. It is recommended that a gasket scraper should be used to scrape of the previous gasket and the sealant from the engine block and the oil pan, and then the mating surface should be washed with lacquer thinner or with acetone, and the threaded bolt holes must be clean. To install, first clean the oil pan with solvent and dry the gasket flanges making sure that they are not distorted and if they are flatten them down. Use 1/8-inch RTV sealant in citing the oil pan gasket surfaces and must be placed at the ID of the bolt holes. Slide into place the oil pan and bolt it; tighten the bolt in phased approached starting from the central bolt and moving outward, avoid over tightening that may cause leakage. In last, pour oil and engage the engine and look out for any kind of leakage related to the oil.
