The filter is located in the air cleaner housing, on the carburetor, or near the battery. For 2.3L and 3.1L models, remove the wing nut(s), release clips, and lift the top plate. Replace with a new one, clean housing, and reassemble together. Remove 2.6L and 2.2L models filter cover clips; after that turn off the cover to replace it with another one. Afterward, fix back cover and clips.
