There is no adjustment for engine motor and it is rare that it will need attention, but the regular check should be made of the hardness of the mounts and of cracks in the rubber or separation between the blocks of rubber and metal. To fit the new engine mounts with the engine in the vehicle, remove the front mounting insulator nuts and bolts which are provided to the engine mount bracket and frame on both the sides and to detach the engine mount bracket from the frame mount, just turn the nut. The weight of the engine must then be relieved from the engine mounts which can be done from below by placing a jack and a wooden block under the
Oil Pan or from above by removing the air cleaner and tying the engine hoist to the two engine brackets. The engine should be hoisted upwards gradually in lifting, and be checked frequently on the clearances around the engine lest something gets stuck or broken, it is especially important to watch out for the things like fan, the wires leading to the ignition coil, the vacuum leading to the engine, rubber hoses and ducts. Ease the engine up sufficiently to withdraw the mounting insulator, then undo the nuts and bolts hold the insulator in place and send it up and out, noting its position previously. Reinstallation involves orienting the insulator in the same way as it was before removal was conducted on it.
