Pack the RTV sealant on the corners of the cylinder head, who meet the rocker arm assembly and let it dry for approximately 5 minutes. This is done by first placing a new rubber gasket in the slotted area of the valve cover and after that the valve cover, sealing grommets and nuts are fitted into place and tightened to the correct torque. This should be done when the RTV sealant is slightly hardened because if the climate is damp and cold then it will take longer for the RTV sealant to harden. Lastly, it is recommended to revert the above mentioned removal procedures in order to finish the installation.
