    How to remove and install the input and output shaft speed sensors in the Honda Pilot? Posted by Customer
    A:
    The input shaft speed sensor is situated on the transaxle's front left corner of 2001-2002 Acura and 2003-2005 Honda models. Remove the left front wheel, raise the vehicle, disconnect the electrical connector on the sensor, remove the O-ring and sensor. Reverse the steps when installing with another O-ring. The output shaft speed sensor is located on top of the transaxle. Disconnect its connector, remove the sensor and O-ring, reinstall it using another O-ring. For 2003 and beyond Acuras as well as 2006 and later Hondas, you will locate an input sensor at transaxle's front side. Get rid of engine splash guard to reach there.
