    How to replace the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor on a transaxle on Honda Odyssey? Posted by Customer

    Remove the key from the ignition key lock cylinder and the air intake duct. Locate the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor on top of the transaxle; to remove it, depress the tab to release the electrical connector, disconnect the connector, remove the mounting bolt, and pull the sensor straight up. Disconnect the electrical connector from the output shaft (countershaft) speed sensor, then remove the sensor mounting bolt and pull the sensor straight up. Discard the sensor O-ring. For installation, reverse the removal steps, ensuring to use a new O-ring and tighten the sensor mounting bolt to the specified torque.

    How to replace the Input and Output Shaft Speed Sensors on a Honda Accord? Posted by Customer

    Four-cylinder models with a manual transaxle have only the output shaft speed sensor located on the front of the transaxle. V6 models with a manual transaxle have their input and output shaft speed sensors on the transaxle's front, left of the starter motor and an automatic transaxle has the input at the left front corner of the transaxle and the output on top of the transaxle. Disconnect the electrical connectors, remove the sensors, and throw away the O-rings, using a new O-ring. Installation is the reverse of removal. Enter the anti-theft code and reset the radio, clock, and power window control unit.
