Use jack stands to lift and support your vehicle, before making clear installation marks on the sway bar. Take off the sway bar links from both ends, detach the sway bar bushing brackets from under the vehicle to completely remove the sway bar. After raising the vehicle, remove the sway bar end link and its bushings when needed. As you install, first connect the sway bar end links and bushings together, then install the whole thing backwards in the order you took it apart. Apply silicone grease between the sway bar bracket and its bushing during installation. Finish by attaching and fastening the sway bar brackets with body bolts at 16 ft-pounds (22 Nm), then tighten end link hardware to 13 ft-pounds (18 Nm) on Prelude vehicles.

- For Prelude: 13 ft. lbs. (18 Nm) - For 1996-97 Accord: 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm) - For 1998-00 Accord: 43 ft. lbs. (59 Nm).
