  Q: How to remove and install a throttle body on Honda Ridgeline?

  A: To replace the throttle body, disconnect the negative battery terminal and pinch off the coolant hoses to the throttle body. Remove the air intake duct. For some Acura and Honda models, detach the cable bracket from the throttle body. Disconnect the electrical connector from the MAP sensor, and TP sensor, and disconnect the coolant hoses from the throttle body. Disconnect the EVAP purge valve hose and the electrical connector from the IAC valve. Remove the throttle body, the spacer, and the gaskets. During installation, use new gaskets and tighten the throttle body mounts. Check the coolant level and adjust if necessary. Reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal, start the engine, and check for leaks.
